All Together Now! 💙💛💚❤️
Our Houses kicked off with an assembly full of teamwork, laughter, and just a little bit of strategy! Students competed in a race across the gym, but there was a catch! Each team had to get every member from one end to the other while staying connected using only one finger and a marker. No breaking the chain!
It was the perfect way to launch our March Character Strong focus: Collaboration. Students quickly learned that success wasn’t about speed alone — it was about communication, patience, encouragement, and working together toward a common goal.
These schoolwide assemblies are powerful for our students and our staff. While students build relationships and school spirit, our teachers gain valuable time to collaborate and dive into data to better support every learner.

Anthony Elementary will hold parent/teacher conferences on March 10th and March 12th. There will be no school on March 12th and 13th
The Book Blast launch has kicked off strong, with over 35% of students participating! Answers to some questions so far: Can people donate cash or write checks to help students earn books for their home libraries? YES! Checks can be made out to Book Blast or Books Are Fun and sent to school (please include the student's name). Can businesses donate to the entire school? YES! A post with more information and an all-school link will be coming shortly!

In January, our teaching and learning team attended School Improvement Day, where we partnered with other outstanding districts—Buhler, Renwick, and Augusta. Together, we collaborated to build robust plans that support our journey toward continued accreditation and excellence.
💡 Belief Drives Progress
Progress begins with belief—both our students' belief in their potential and our collective belief in their ability to succeed. Research consistently shows that Collective Efficacy is the single greatest lever for student growth.
By implementing Structured Literacy (aligned with the science of reading) and expanding Professional Learning Communities (PLCs) from PK-12, we are ensuring our teachers have the tools and collaboration time they need to help every student thrive.
