February is CTE Month! ![]()
Career & Technical Education (CTE) provides our students with real-world skills, hands-on learning opportunities, and pathways that lead directly to careers, certifications, and college credit. Whether students are exploring agriculture, business, health sciences, welding, family & consumer sciences, or other technical fields, CTE helps them discover their strengths and prepare for life after high school.
Tuesday, our freshmen and sophomores had the opportunity to hear from Jesse Waugh, Sergeant with the Army National Guard. He shared the importance of exploring Career & Technical Education pathways and finding a direction that aligns with individual interests and strengths.
Sergeant Waugh encouraged students to:
Explore different career pathways
Develop technical and employability skills
Take advantage of certifications and hands-on experiences
Start planning early for their future
CTE empowers students to turn their interests into opportunities. We are proud to offer programs that help our Roadrunners build confidence, gain skills, and prepare for successful futures!
